I have been photographing events, parties and all types of occasions for 30 years. My passion for capturing the essence of each special occasion is reflected in the photos that I take. "Every picture tells a story."
 

My initial interest in photography began in college while taking courses in photography but I really got hooked when I began developing black and white photos in the lab. That led to experimenting in a home darkroom followed by photographing my kids, serving as the photographer at all family gatherings and expanding to events, parties and volunteering at charity events. I have been capturing the venue, décor and uniqueness of an event long before it was popular to do so. I believe that every part of the event or party is important in preserving the memory--that's my goal.
 

Photography is more than a hobby or a business--it is my life. I see a picture everywhere I look and every place I go. If I see something interesting, I want to stop and take a picture and find out more about the subject. If I don't have my camera with me and I miss a shot, I am very disappointed. My husband always drives on trips because I have to be able to take pictures along the way. I am very lucky that he likes to drive! He is always willing to pull over so that I can get a shot.

I also create unique 3D photo collages, slide shows, photo books and Shutterfly sites for my clients that document their events and showcase their photos. Examples of these can be found in the Galleries under "Specialty Products."
 

Taking Pictures makes me happy. There is almost nothing else that I would rather be doing!
